AllStar remote devices

by Home Owner

I have two PDQ AllStar (Model 4120 2 Channel Transmitter) garage door openers.

They are controlled be seperate wall mounted, hard wired AllStar remote devices (model number unknown). They are "touch-pad" units that with touch-pads for "up & down", "stop" and "light" controls.

The touch-pad has worn out on one unit and I would like to replace both units. What remotes would you recommend replacing them with or do you still stock this particlure model (?) that I currently have.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The only ones I can find for mounting on an inside wall are wireless keypads.

Your local home center should have something.

These wall mounted switches are a simple momentary switch just like a doorbell, except that Allstar seems to have tried to make them seem unique.

How many wires run from your wall mounted control to your opener?
