Garage Door Opener Rail Extension Kit
I have a Genie Aladdin model 1020L opener 1/3 hp it is designed for a 7 ft door but I need to have an 8 or 9 ft high door 9 ft wide. Are there extension kits available to convert it? I am not aware of any. But then I have not been active in the field for 12 years. The Alladin was only available for a short time in the USA (not the same operator available in Africa). I saw this unit available for only a few weeks at Lowe's. To my knowledge, rail extension kits were never made available. But you might try your nearest Lowe's to see if they can find out if the one they carry for the Chain Glide can be made to work. Hope this helps, Donald
