A garage door opener wiring diagram is invaluable when you have disconnected the wiring and forgotten how the wires connect. Your owners manual may contain a good schematic. You will be able to easily follow the digram to reconnect your wires.

Chamberlain's Liftmaster owner's manuals Chamberlain's Liftmaster owner's manuals no longer contain wiring diagrams. It would really be helpful if they would publish these on their website, but for now Chamberlain has chosen not to. The original manual that came with your garage door opener may have the schematic within.

Chamberlain also manufactures the Sears Craftsman garage door opener. Unfortunately they have redone the owner's manuals to no longer include wiring diagrams in those as well. It is really important to keep all manuals and diagrams that come with your unit. The information contained in these materials may not be easily accessible online, if at all.

Sears Craftsman garage door opener wiring instructions are partially included in the owner's manual. In fact, most brands include incomplete wiring instructions, but no wiring schematic.

Genie Owners Manuals still contain wiring diagrams in their guide. The Genie Chain Glide owner's manual has a wiring diagram on page 24. For other models, the table of contents will list the page number.

At the present time only Genie owners manuals have a typical garage door opener wiring diagram included in the manuals.

Raynor Garage Door Opener owner's manuals look like most of the others - incomplete wiring instructions without a schematic.
