Garage door opens but won't close

I can open it but it won't close with the Keyless entry or remote key.

Will it close when you press and hold the wall control button?

If so, Your infrared safety sensors are out of alignment.

The infrared beam from the sending unit must strike the lens of the receiving unit.

If you get down to eye level with the receiver you can see that the indicator lamp is blinking rapidly.

Twist the sending unit to bend the bracket slightly in the correct direction, until the indicator light stops blinking and remains on continuously.

Everything should work as usual once the safety sensors are aligned properly.

There is also a less common occurrence where the wires can be broken or shorted between the sensors and the motor assembly.

You could also have a bad sensor or control board.
