Garage door will not consistently open fully.

Sometimes my garage door will only open half way then stop. Pressing a control will cause it to close. Mostly happens in the late afternoon when the sun shines on the door. Repeating pressing the button will not cause it to fully open. Mornings seem to be OK. Help...
