Should you use garage sale clipart to dress up your flyers, signs and posters?

When it comes to organizing a garage sale, it is important to make sure that you are advertising properly. Without the best advertisement possible, you might find that your garage sale is not as successful as you would like it to be. There are several ways to advertise. Some ways cost money and other ways are free.

To start with, you could place an ad in your local paper. The papers usually charge per word and sometimes per letter so depending on what you want your ad to say, this could add up to be a decent amount of money. If you are throwing a super huge garage sale, it just might be worth it though.

Another way to advertise is to put up flyers and posters all over town. You can place flyers on bulletin boards at your local grocery store, library, gas station and just about anywhere else you can think up.

The bigger posters should be saved for street signs so that you can catch the traffic that drives by. Of course, you want to make sure that you are checking with your local officials to make sure that it is okay to place such signs up.

When you are putting your signs together, you will want to make use of clipart. Garage sale clipart is a great way to make sure that your garage sale sign stands out from all of the other garage sale signs out there. On any given weekend during the summer, there could be a dozen or so garage sales in one town. You want to make sure that everyone knows about your garage sale, as this is how you will make the most money.

There are plenty of online sites where you can download free clipart. Computer programs such as Microsoft word might already come with some clipart. All you have to do is download the clipart to your computer and then upload it onto a Word document.

Once you have the clipart placed in Word document, you can click on it once and a box around it should appear. You will be able to use this box to readjust the size. You can make the clipart as large as you need. You will want to be careful though as some clipart can lose its crispness if you try resizing it too large.

Use clipart that is a sign of a garage sale or a picture of a garage sale or something of that nature. You get the point.

When you start looking through all of your options, you will find that there is a wide variety of garage sale clipart that you can use as long as you are using your imagination.
