(Bill)

I have a Genie model 209.

Will a chamberlain KLIK1U work with it?

I can't find any dip-switches.

Older Intellicode operator
by: Donald

I believe this was one of the early models using Intellicode remotes so there are no dip-switches.

There should be a "learn button" near where all those white wires connect on the motor assembly.

Does the serial plate say 390Mhz?

Compatible remotes are not easy to find. You will need the date of manufacture and the frequency.

If I recall correctly this operator does not have safety sensors. You may be better off buying a new garage door opener.

there is a separate antenna box located somewhere within range of your overhead unit. It has the dip switches on the board in this box. Mine is detached from previous owners and I can't figure out how to re-attach it. Look for the black antenna wire to locate the box
