Take it from some one who works on openers daily use a liftmaster opener. Their a much better opener and they have a longer life and are much easier to troubleshoot.

Overhead Door or Liftmaster

There is not much difference in quality of openers by most of the different manufacturers, as long as you can set aside personal preferences and prejudices. Liftmaster provides a good unit, but the extra features of the Legacy makes it the preferred choice in my opinion.
