The company maintains its executive staff, sales engineering, and research and development resources in Carlsbad, California. Primary manufacturing is performed in our China facility. May 2007 news release from Linear LLCLinear LLC announced the aquisition of Allstar Corporation, manufacturer of gate operators, commercial and residential garage door openers, and radio controls. The new company’s name is AllStar Pro LLC. “Allstar is a very good fit and a welcome addition for us,” said Dan Stottlemyre, president of Linear. “Collectively, with our complementary product lines, we can offer customers an even broader range of entry system choices.” “We are very pleased about this acquisition and look forward to the many positives made possible by a larger enterprise — manufacturing efficiencies, ongoing product improvements, and customer service enhancements,” according to Robert T. Holland, Allstar’s president. “The plan is to continue to manufacture, sell and support all of the Allstar products. Customer service operations and contact channels remain the same.” A training session for all field sales personnel was held earlier this month, said Linear. "We wanted to bring everyone together immediately, educate them about all the products, introduce some new developments, and hit the ground running, said Larry Foisie, Linear’s vice president of entry systems. Residential Garage Door Openers"Linear Residential Garage Door Openers are engineered and built specifically for the garage door professional. The heads and rails are completely interchangeable with Linear's modular design. Between three head designs, two rail types, and three rail lengths, there are 15 different combinations available to satisfy virtually any residential application."
