My Stanley Garage Door System is Having Problems

basically the model number is :ET380C . A08

I pressed the remote for garage door to open and is now stuck in the open position. Normally the back up light on the top of controller stays on..I turned off power supply then back on again to see if it may work.

Light of controller now flickers and garage door closes itself, after 2 seconds it goes back to open position.

Remote control doesn't operate to command. Operates now from switch which opens and closes garage door constantly.

Could you please help me with my question as your website has been very useful.
