Power Surge - Garage Door Opener Won't Work

by Brent
(Racine, WI)

There was a surge of power that went through my house and now my door opener won't work. None of the lights are on that are on any of the sensors or on the motor itself but there is power to the outlet that it is plugged into. What should I do?

Call a service company to check for what all is burnt out. And have them install a surge protector so it doesn't happen again.
