Programming new remote for 1987 Raynor model 120-7

by Mark
(Sherman, TX)

I just bought a house that has an old Raynor model 120-7. I can't find the learn button. I bought a couple extra remotes, but can't figure out how to program them to work. Most openers have a learn button, but I can't find one on this Raynor 120-7???

I can't remember the model numbers - I've been disabled 12 years and am not active anymore.

The older models used dip-switch technology so they did not have a learn button. Look for a row of tiny switches. There should be a row of 8 or more.

Do your remotes have dip-switches? You will have to pry the cover off to find them.

The switches on the remote must be set to match those on the opener exactly. If you bought universal remotes they may have extra switches. If there are extras, leave them set in the neutral (centered) position.

remotes for Raynor Model 20-7 NEW
by: Anonymous

I'm like you. I just bought a house with the same 120-7. The remote works except the seller only handed over one. I need the manual and know where to purchase additional remotes.
