recent storm - motor will not engage

I have a chamberlain garage door opener. After a recent storm the unit's motor will not engage when pressing either the wall button or remote. Only get a click and the light on the unit come on.

It may be damage caused by an electrical surge. Get a technician to check it out and install a surge suppressor.
