Remote garage door opener problem

by Jeff
(Canada)

Sometimes when I use my remote to open my garage door as I'm entering my driveway, the door continues to open and close on its own.

I have to get into the garage quickly before the door comes crashing down on my car! Is this a "replacing battery" problem, or is it something else?

Jeff

Adjusting Limits
by: Donald

It is not likely to be a problem with your battery.

Try adjusting the limits on the rail. Instructions are in your manual.

If you do not have your manual you can use this one online at http://download.sears.com/own/53990e.pdf

Procedure is pretty similar regardless of the brand.

Adjusting travel limits is on page 28.
