Sears Garage Door Openers

Sears garage door openers are sold under the 'Craftsman' brand name. They are available with various horsepower motors with chain, screw and belt drives.

Several years ago the military began using their 390Mhz band and interfering with automatic garage door openers in the area of military bases. Several Garage door opener manufacturers had been using this frequency but since it belonged to the military all they could do was switch frequencies.

These systems now operate on the 315 Mhz frequency band. Older sears units will not work with the new remotes.

It is advisable to read and understand the warranty before purchase.
