Stanley Garage Door Opener Light Won't Turn Offby Homeowner
I have a Stanley garage door opener mod# 5100.14 and the lights don't turn off after opening the door. Do you know what causes this? I can't find a manual for this unit. The Stanley Owners Instruction Manual is not much help with this problem. My Stanley Garage Door Openers page does refer to a place you can purchase a manual. Since you have a Stanley, it is old enough that I would not want to invest too much. The easiest and least expensive solution is to remove the light bulb and install a separate motion detecting light fixture in the garage. Hope this helps, Donald
