temperature goes over 90 degrees garage opener does not work

When the outside temperature goes over 90 degrees for several days, the garage opener does not work. We have model # PEC R4. Is there a reset button?

No reset button. The only reset is to turn off electricity to your opener for a few seconds, then turn it back on.

I suspect the problem is caused by expansion and contraction due to temperatures.
